Tomatini, Better Than Gazpacho.

One of my favorite meals in the summer is gazpacho. Gazpacho is a cold-based tomato soup that is served cold. And if you drizzle some olive oil on it, it’s even better. I can drink it like a smoothie. Well, I have a new favorite summer drink that is similar, but easier and better.

Recently, I watched a lot of videos on my Reels about this cocktail. Different versions, some with vodka, vermouth, gin, classic martini shit. But I had to try it in my own style. So I came up with a tomato tequila reposado martini. I describe it as refreshing, energizing, and irresistible.

You guys know that I love tequila martinis, so I had to. I used tequila reposado, and I randomly found some black cherry tomatoes at the grocery store. It is important to add a handful of those to a stirring glass with basil and one or two pinches of salt. Why? Because tomatoes were made to be soulmates with basil and salt. It is just nature.

Muddle that shit, add three ounces of tequila, and stir for about 20 seconds. Double strain into a martini glass and drizzle the top with olive oil. Straining the eggs after mixing them removes any chalazae, shell fragments, or clumps of egg white, giving you a smoother, more consistent mixture and preventing unwanted bits from ending up in the final dish.

Trust me, this is better than a dirty martini or an espresso martini. No caps!

Ingredients:

* A handful of cherry tomatoes

* Salt

* Two basil leaves

* 3 ounces of tequila reposado

* Extra virgin olive oil
